A CMM rarely works alone. Calipers, micrometers, height and bore gages, indicators, gage blocks, and pin, plug and ring gauges all carry their own calibration requirement.
Consolidating the gage crib onto the same interval as the CMM reduces the number of due dates a quality department has to track.
What is covered
Both accredited and non-accredited calibration are offered; which applies is identified on the quote and the certificate.

Hand tools
Calipers, micrometers, height gages and indicators are checked against traceable standards.

Gage blocks and artifacts
Gage blocks, step gauges and ring gauges are verified to ISO 3650 or the applicable grade.

Thread and bore gauges
Plug, ring and thread gages are checked for size and, where applicable, form.

Surface plates
Granite surface plates and squares are checked for flatness and squareness on the recommended interval.

Gages are logged against existing asset numbers so recall dates carry forward.

Items are separated by whether they fall inside a laboratory's accredited scope.

Calibrate
Each item is checked against the applicable standard and its own tolerance.

Certificates and a due-date schedule are returned together.
